Kudos to Metropolitan Display for a timely delivery. It's strong. I'm a big guy who lifts heavy object for fun, and there was only a slight bend in the top bar when I put most of my 300+ lbs. on it. Although I haven't gotten any clothes on here, yet, this WILL hold all of my and my wife's dress clothes, and then some. The secondary rack is perfect for hanging pants. I would suggest some really good hangers, though, if you have heavy clothes. This thing is made of freaking METAL! As I opened the box, I heard some soft clanging.
